CuriouSer…

The Problem

Academic curricula are designed to assess what students know, not whether they understand why they should know it. There is no structural incentive for the system to create that urgency — and so for each individual student, abstract subjects like Computer Science remain permanently outside the threshold of personal relevance.

It was clearly out of scope to solve a systemic academic problem like environmental urgency, however, it was possible to design an environment where personal urgency in the context of Computer Science comprehension was discovered through genuine curiosity and VR gave us the immersive conditions we needed to make that possible.
